Wooden scaffolding – loading/unloading

The transportation of export wooden scaffolding is provided by the truck with the standard width of the loading area and the ability to load/unload items with car lifts from the car side. The loading of wooden rack with loading hoists or auto-crane is carried out using wooden or metal device (length 750mm), which is placed between the scaffolding and crane fabric straps.

Given the fact that the rear part of the van is more exposed to the road specifications and driving range is bigger than in the frontal part of the van, the scaffoldings with the glass products are loaded only in the frontal part of the load compartment. The scaffolding are 750 mm wide to be able to place three scaffoldings one next to another.

To ensure safe scaffolding fastening, the scaffoldings must not be placed next to other types of the load (e.g., pallets, metal containers, etc.).

The scaffoldings with similar height and length are located in one row. The spacing between the rows is 150 -200mm .

When the scaffold is placed, the fixation with wooden planks is carried out (their thickness is 40mm). The plans are laid across each row and screwed with screws ( 4.2 x 75) to each scaffold.

If the row with the scaffoldings is up to 1200mm long, it has to be secured by one plank in the middle of the row; however if the length is over 1200mm – 2 plans have to be used. The driver deploys fabric straps for tightening onto the planks. The length of the planks has to be calculated to have the strap fallen on the plank when tightened. The strap must not touch the glass products.

Metal frame loading/unloading

Loading of the scaffoldings is carried out with the forklift truck (Picture1) or hoists, by appropriately fastening the scaffoldings (Picture 2).

Metal scaffolding is placed by two on one line, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Fastening is carried out by the driver. He reinforces the belt extends through the bottom of the scaffold and strains it. The strap must not touch the glass products.
